With a Diploma in Addictions Counselling and a Degree in Social Work, I bring both education and lived experience to my counselling practice. I work from a strengths-based, person-centred approach, guided by an Indigenous lens that values connection, balance, and respect.
I have experience in supporting individuals navigating ADHD, autism, caregiver fatigue and burnout, codependency, depression, grief and loss, infidelity, intergenerational trauma, relationship concerns, and women’s issues. Whether you’re facing a specific challenge or seeking space to explore your journey, I aim to create a safe, non-judgmental environment where you feel heard and supported.
As a mother of four, I understand the complexities of balancing caregiving and personal well-being. I love the outdoors—camping, fishing, and hunting keep me grounded—and I often bring humour into my work to build genuine, trusting relationships. Outside of sessions, I enjoy baking, listening to audiobooks, and learning about other cultures.
Together, we’ll work to uncover your strengths, honour your story, and move toward healing at your own pace.
Cristin has experience working with children, youth, adults, seniors, and couples.
